The TrendMoon Explorer Page is designed to give users the freedom to navigate and explore social data on their own terms. This page provides an interactive and user-friendly interface, allowing users to inspect any project they are interested in, understand its social activity, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
With the Explorer Page, users can dive deep into the metrics that matter to them, compare projects, and visualize social trends in the cryptocurrency space without the need for extensive technical knowledge.
Mindshare Comparison Tool
The Mindshare Comparison Tool enables users to pick any asset and compare it to another arbitrary asset to visualize the social dominance between them. This tool also allows users to analyze the price difference between the selected assets over a specific period, providing a clear comparison of social influence and market performance.
Social Mentions Visualization Tool
Visualize and compare social mentions against price movements to uncover market trends and investor sentiment in real-time. This tool helps users understand how price moves in relation to social mentions and social dominance, and provides statistics on the correlation between these metrics.
This explorer chart can be useful to focus on one particular asset of interest and check how their social data behave against price. We have three data points here, the social mentions (green, absolute number of people mentioning the project) and the social dominance (purple, ratio of people talking about it in relation to the overall market, e.g. Mindshare) and price (blue). When the social metrics move in tandem after a quite period can be a sign that there is an increased interest in the project which increases the chance of a subsequent uptick in price. Finally, red vertical lines indicate times in which TrendMoon system send a signal for that particular asset.
Narrative Mindshare
Aggregate the social attention around all of the coins within a particular narrative to track the most dominant narratives in relation to the overall market and to one another. This explorer chart also plots the total market cap change around each narrative, enabling users to compare narrative social dominance with the overall market cap change of those narratives. Additionally, users can identify the leading coins within specific narratives and monitor shifts in dominance. This helps users align their strategy with top-performing assets within a certain narrative, positioning in projects that are the strongest contenders, with the most social mindshare and community discussion.
The below chart is an example of comparing a few narratives against each other. The top chart shows the % difference in narrative mindshare for the time period selected and the bottom chart is the respective narratives % change in market cap during the same period. This can be used to identify which narrative is taking up most mindshare which tends to be a great reflexive indicator on % market cap change for those narratives. Here you can see that the Meme (orange) category was outpacing the others in mindshare and that can be reflected in it being the best performer in this subset of narratives. Similarly GameFi (orange) also takes off around 8-9th of October which is also reflective of a significant outperformance in the GameFi sector.
Once a narrative is identified as outperforming, the "Mindshare Comparison Within Narrative" tool can be used to determine which tokens within that narrative are the strongest contenders according to mindshare.
Mindshare Comparison Within Narrative
Identify the leading coins within specific narratives and monitor shifts in dominance. Users can align their strategy with top-performing assets within a certain narrative and have the ability to position in projects that are the strongest contenders within that narrative, with the most social mindshare and community discussion.
For example, the Artificial Intelligence narrative can be isolated, and the top coins within that narrative can be compared to see which ones have the highest mindshare. This helps users identify the strongest projects within that narrative. In the example, Bittensor (red) and FetchAI (orange) gained social dominance, which was also reflected in significant price growth during the same period. Conversely, Near (blue) initially exhibited the most mindshare but saw a decline over time, which correlated with stagnating price performance.
